• Community Care Access Center of the District of Thunder Bay - Community Care Access Centres were created to offer a simplified point of access to Ontario's long-term care system.

• George Jeffery Children's Treatment Center - The George Jeffrey Children's Centre is a non-profit charitable organization with strong community ties dating back to 1948 when the Kiwanis Club and the Lakehead Cerebral Palsy Parents' Council worked together to establish the J.B. Larway School. From this early beginning serving preschool children with disabilities, the Centre has grown to serve all of Northwestern Ontario with a variety of services and innovative and specialized programming.

• Lung Association, The - The Lung Association is among Canada's oldest voluntary, not-for-profit health promotion organizations. First established in 1900 to control the spread of tuberculosis, The Lung Association began its work as the Canadian Tuberculosis Association. The Lung Association is now concerned with the prevention and control of asthma, chronic lung disease caused by smoking and with air quality and its affect on lung health.

• The Canadian Mental Health Association - As a community based, non-profit service organization which is both consumer-driven and volunteer directed, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Thunder Bay Branch is dedicated to promoting, maintaining and enhancing the mental wellness of individuals, families and the community, through the provision or coordination of public education, peer support and individual advocacy, and access to community-based adult mental health care programs and other supportive services.
